Creamy Peanut Herb Sauce

Creamy Peanut Herb Sauce

Serves: 4

Ingredients
3/4 cup whipping cream
1/3 cup peanut butter
1/2 tsp lemon pepper seasoning
1/4 tsp salt
1 Tbsp each: chopped fresh parsley, basil and rosemary
1 Tbsp spicy or coarse grained mustard
1 Tbsp cold water
1 tsp cornstarch

Method

Combine cream, peanut butter, lemon pepper and salt in a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Stir in half of the herbs and mustard. Combine water and cornstarch; mix well. Add to sauce; simmer 2 minutes or until sauce has thickened, stirring frequently. Stir in remaining herbs.
