Basic Job Functions:

Deliver merchandise, with accompanying paperwork, to customers along a prescribed highway or city delivery route.

Report to transportation supervisor for information and receive instructions on changes to company policy and delivery procedures.

Work with a variety of departments and customers relating to delivery problems.

Follow safe driving and lifting techniques in handling and delivery of merchandise.

Practice good customer relations.

Driving is 20-30% of the time and delivery is 70-80%.

Involves lifting and transporting products weighing up to 100lbs.

Must be able to work any day, any shift, with minimal notice.

Placement Criteria:

Washington drivers license required with a Class A CDL.|

Written examination card.

Must be 21 years of age.
Certification of road test card.

Medical examiner's certification. (DOT card).

Abstract of three years motor vehicle driving record.

Minimum of two years driving experience required preferably as a route driver vs. long haul experience.
