Easter Egg Designs: Natural Dyed Eggs

Natural Dyed Eggs

You can use the natural dye in onion skins to color your eggs. You won't believe how incredibly simple these eggs are to make.

Because they're natural looking, they'll work everywhere you want to maintain a soft tone and texture.

There are two options when dying eggs with onion skins. If you prefer one even tone to your eggs, just put the onion skins in the boiling water and hard boil as usual.
To achieve tonal variations, like the eggs in the photo, wrap the onion skins around raw eggs, and then hard boil them this way.

That's all there is to it -- very easy and very little mess.
