Apricot Sauced Ribs

Apricot Sauced Ribs
Spareribs smothered in a lip smacking, sauce made with sugar, mustard, ketchup, spices and apricots.

Serves: 4

Ingredients
4 lb pork spareribs, cut into serving-size pieces
8-oz undrained apricot halves
3 Tbsp ketchup
3 Tbsp brown sugar
2 Tbsp lemon juice
1 Tbsp Dijon-style mustard
1 tsp dry ginger
1/8 tsp salt

Method
Place ribs on grill not directly over coals, cover grill and cook ribs over indirect heat for 1-1/2 hours. Meanwhile, blend remaining ingredients together in blender. Brush ribs generously with sauce and continue to cook, about 15-20 minutes, basting and turning 2-3 times.
