Baked Stuffed French Toast

Baked Stuffed French Toast

Ingredients
8 slices sourdough bread, crust removed & bread cubed
16 oz cream cheese, cubed
2 granny smith apples, peeled & chopped
2 cups milk
3 tsp cinnamon
2 cups easy eggs
Maple syrup
Powdered sugar

Method
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
 
Place half the bread cubes in an ungreased baking dish. Cover with all the cream cheese cubes, distributing evenly. Sprinkle with chopped apples. Top evenly with remaining bread cubes. 
 
Beat together eggs, milk and cinnamon until well blended. Pour over bread mixture. Bake about 35 minutes, or until set. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve with maple or fruit syrup.
