4 New York Strip Steaks1/4 cup brown sugar1-1/2 Tbsp grainy mustard1 Tbsp white vinegar1 onion, finely chopped1 bay leaf1 cup beer
Combine all ingredients except steaks in a pan. Bring to boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 10 minutes, cool. Pour mixture over steaks. Let stand 1 to 2 hours, turning steaks occasionally.
Cook steaks until golden brown on both sides.
