Candied Pecans

Candied Pecans
This recipe is excellent for an easy holiday gift. Sprinkle the candied nuts on ice cream, cheesecake, or puddings.

Ingredients
1 cup pecans, whole shelled
4 tsp melted butter
1/3 cup sugar

Method

Toast nuts in the oven on a cookie sheet at 350 degrees F for 5 minutes and immediately toss with butter and then the sugar. Let cool on a plate.

Cooking tips: Add any spices you prefer to the sugar before coating. After they are cooled, candied and glazed nuts will keep for two weeks in an airtight container.
