Classic Cream Pound Cake

Ingredients
1 cup butter, softened
3 cups sugar
1 cup easy eggs
1 cup whipping cream
1 Tbsp vanilla extract
1/8 tsp salt
3 cups flour

Method
Do not preheat oven. Grease and flour 10" tube pan. In large mixer bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, a little at a time, beating well. Blend in vanilla and salt. Add flour alternately with cream, beginning and ending with flour. Spoon batter into prepared pan. Place in cold oven. Turn oven to 325 degrees F and bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until wooden pick inserted comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 minutes; turn out onto wire rack and cool.
