Method
Cut bread into small cubes; set aside. Combine mayonnaise and half & half in a large bowl, stir well. Fold all but breadcrumbs and melted butter into mayonnaise mixture. Spoon crab mixture into a lightly greased half pan. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Combine breadcrumbs and butter, stirring well. Sprinkle over top of casserole. Bake at 325 degrees F for 1 hour or until bubbly.
Yields: 12 servings.
