Croissant French Toast

Croissant French Toast
Fresh new way to serve up a traditional breakfast favorite. Great item for brunch and breakfast menus.

Ingredients

9 large whole eggs (2 cups)
1/4 cup sugar, granulated
1-1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon, ground
2 cups whole milk
Pillsbury® All Butter Croissants, baked as needed

Method

Beat eggs. Add sugar, salt and milk; mix well. Cut croissants vertically into four slices; dip cut side(s) of each slice into egg mixture. Cook on well greased griddle over medium heat until golden brown. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve with whipped butter and warm maple syrup.
