Ingredients
3 Tbsp sugar
1 Tbsp cornstarch
2/3 cup milk
2 egg yolks
2 Tbsp brandy
1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
1 cup whipped cream
Method
Mix sugar and cornstarch in medium saucepan; whisk in milk. Heat to boiling, whisking constantly until thickened. Whisk 1/2 cup mixture into egg yolks; whisk yolk mixture back into saucepan. Whisk over low heat 1 to 2 minutes. Strain; stir in brandy and nutmeg. Chill.
