Greek Turkey Burgers

Greek Turkey Burgers

Ingredients
1/2 lb onions, finely diced
Olive oil, as needed
6 lbs ground turkey
3/4 cup pimento-stuffed olives, drained and finely chopped
1/3 cup parsley, chopped
2 Tbsp garlic, minced
1-1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
3/4 tsp freshly grated nutmeg
1 Tbsp salt
1-1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1-1/2 cups sour cream
1-1/2 cups Feta cheese, crumbled
24 each pita bread
1-1/2 lbs cucumber, small dice

Method
Caramelize onions with oil. Cool and reserve.

Mix ground turkey, caramelized onions, olives, parsley, garlic, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt and pepper together and form into 4 - ounce patties.

Grill over direct heat or cook in 350 degree F oven to an internal temperature of 165 degrees F.

Combine sour cream and Feta cheese in food processor and pulse lightly to combine.

Place burger in folded pita and top with Feta mixture and cucumbers.
