Hearty Potato Tomato Soup

Method
Combine potatoes, celery, onion, and water; boil gently, uncovered, until potatoes are soft. Mash potatoes in water. Stir in tomato juice and pepper; heat through. Just before serving, add cream and stir until hot, do not boil. Serve with croutons or toast.
