Lemon Syrup Sauce

Ingredients
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
1 tsp lemon peel, grated
2 Tbsp lemon juice
Raspberries, for garnish
Lemon slices, for garnish
Method
Syrup:
Bring sugar and water to a boil in a small saucepan, stirring to dissolve sugar. Remove from heat and stir in lemon peel and juice. Cover and refrigerate.
