4 pork loin chops, boneless, 1-1/4 inch thick1/2 cup Italian style bread crumbs1 Tbsp margarine or butter, melted1 tsp lemon peel, grated1 tsp basil leaves, dried1 egg, slightly beaten1 tsp lemon juice
Heat oven to 375° F. Grease 15x10x1-inch baking pan. Combine bread crumbs, margarine, lemon peel and basil. In small bowl, combine egg and lemon juice. Brush chops with egg, then dip in crumb mixture to coat top and sides. Bake at 375° F. for 30 to 40 minutes or until meat thermometer reaches 160° F, turning once halfway through baking.Optional—heat ½ cup Marinara sauce and serve over chops.
