Maple Glazed Carrots

Maple Glazed Carrots
How more Easter traditional can one get with these scrumptious glazed carrots. A must for side dishes offered on brunch displays and Easter menus.

Ingredients
1 Tbsp margarine
4 Tbsp water
3 Tbsp maple-flavored syrup
1/4 tsp chicken-flavor instant bouillon 
(2) 9 oz pkgs frozen baby cut carrots
1 tsp cornstarch
1 tsp maple flavor
1 Tbsp finely chopped toasted pecans

Method
Cook carrots according to package directions.
 
Melt margarine in medium saucepan over low heat. Add water, syrup, bouillon and maple flavor. Mix well. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer 3 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
 
Add cornstarch, stir until well blended and slightly thickened. Add carrots, stir to coat. Place in serving dish and sprinkle with pecans.
 
Yield: (4) 1/2 cup servings.
