Method
Set up 3 dipping bowls: one with flour, one with egg and one with bread crumbs.
Coat each string cheese, first with flour, then egg, then bread crumbs. Immediately transfer into hot oil. Fry for 1 minute on each side or until coating is golden brown and cheese is melted.
Sprinkle with lemon juice and serve. For best results, keep oil level at about 1/4 inch.
Yields: 16 servings.
