Orange Rice

Orange Rice

Ingredients

1 cup chopped onions
1 Tbsp butter or margarine

1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 cup orange juice concentrate
1/4 cup dry vermouth

1-1/2 qts hot cooked rice

Method

Cook onions in butter.

Add salt, pepper, cinnamon, orange juice and vermouth to onions; heat thoroughly.

Pour onion mixture over hot rice; toss lightly. Cover and let stand 10 minutes so flavors will blend. Serve with cooked pork or poultry.
