Peanut Butter Cookies

Peanut Butter Cookies
A classic cookie made a new and simple way -- yellow cake mix combined with peanut butter, eggs and butter, dropped on a sheet and baked.

Serves: 9 dozen cookies

Ingredients

5 lb (full box) Krusteaz Yellow Cake Mix
4 fl oz (1/2 cup) water
8 oz (4) eggs
4 oz (1/2 cup) butter, melted
36 oz (4 cups) peanut butter
Sugar (optional)

Method

Place Krusteaz Yellow Cake Mix, water, eggs, butter and peanut butter in mixer bowl. Using a paddle, mix on low speed 1 minute or until dough forms a ball. Scrape bowl and paddle. Continue to mix on low speed 1 minute.

Using #40 scoop, drop dough onto prepared sheet pans. Score cookies with fork and sprinkle with sugar, if desired.

 

For standard oven, bake at 350° F 10-14 minutes; for convection oven, bake at 300° F 10-14 minutes.
