Philly Potato Steak

Philly Potato Steak
A new look to an old favorite. This recipe tops crunchy CrissCut Fries with layers of sliced flank steak, provolone and mozzarella cheeses to make a meal they'll remember.

Ingredients
8 oz Crispy Coat CrissCut Fries
3 oz Provolone cheese, shredded
3 oz Mozzarella cheese, shredded
3 oz broiled, marinated flank steak, cut 1/8 - 1/4" thick
2 slices onion, sliced 1/4" thick
Steak sauce, to taste

Method
Deep fry CrissCuts (350-360 degrees) for 2-1/4 minutes or until golden brown and crisp. Or, heat at 400 degrees F (convection oven) for 9 to 12 minutes or at 425 degrees F (conventional oven) for 22 to 25 minutes.
 
Arrange CrissCuts on heatproof serving place or shallow individual casserole. Top with shredded cheeses. Lay meat strips across top of cheese.
 
Microwave or broil to melt cheese and heat meat through. Garnish with onion slices; serve with a side of steak sauce.
 
Yield: 1 serving.
