A great new recipe for green beans. Easy to modify by adding some of your own flavorings, such as herbs or mustards, to add a twist.
In a heavy bottom sauté pan, heat oil over medium high heat. Season flour with thyme, basil, salt and pepper. Tie bundles of 6 green beans with green onion pieces into a knot.
Make eggwash by combining the egg, milk and water until well blended. Dip beans into eggwash, then into flour shaking off all excess. Deep fry until golden brown on both sides.
Remove to drain board and keep warm.
