Sustainability is a journey. Our initial work in Seafood Sustainability is to document all our seafood items from the perspective of third party sustainability certifiers with the goal to provide accurate information on these items. And we are keeping an eye on sustainable seafood, educating our associates, and providing information for customers to educate them about sustainability initiatives.

Long-term we will continue to engage in industry issues that positively affect Seafood Sustainability and support our customer base in purchasing products they support.

Food Services of America needs to make sure there are sustainable business practices within our industry, so our customers have the choices they need for their business. We need to ensure the food supply is here for generations to come. For the food industry as a whole, it is important to do our part and our best to conserve natural resources, understand that they are limited, and be a good corporate citizen.
