Here at FSA -- and throughout the SGA Family of Companies -- we have a strong culture regarding safety. Recently, Associates in our Boise branch and a number of our sister company locations have achieved some monumental records when it comes to safety – something we are very proud of. Boise has achieved more than a year of injury-free work in the warehouse operations. Distribution Centers at our sister systems company, Systems Services of America, have also achieved this remarkable level, and have included additional records to include a year of injury free work in some delivery departments as well as the same for a year of accident- free in transportation. These records have been achieved through planning and commitment in spite of the volume of work our Associates put in daily as well as the complicated nature of our business. When your driver shows up with your order, it is the successful result of a sophisticated logistics system which includes Associates receiving, sorting, lifting, storing, retrieving, packaging, loading, driving, unloading and delivering all of the individual elements you wanted. When that is duplicated by hundreds of Associates with thousands of items, over thousands of miles each day, you can see what a remarkable achievement it really is. We’re proud of our emphasis on safety because our Associates are our most valuable asset. Without them, we would not be able to provide the excellent service you’ve all come to expect from Food Services of America. Sincerely, Doug Minert
President & CEO
