Occasionally, we get letters and phone calls from customers and employees alike, singing the praises of FSA Spokane Associates. We like to share the good news with you: Ken Ripley, Eastern Washington University: Dear Roy (Roy Hogeboom, Sales Associate), I just wanted to let you know (and your team at FSA know) what a great job you did for us today!! To track down the desserts we needed from another customer that ordered them previously (when ours didn’t arrive today on our normal shipment from Petersons) and then get them to us before the weekend, was a display of excellent customer service. Knowing that the event we needed these for was a high profile/high exposure to many other college and universities, you went above and beyond to ensure that we had what we needed to have a successful event. This is the kind of partnership and service that we expect from our primary vendor!! Thanks again. Tobe Finch, Happy Day Catering: Dear Mike (Mike George, Branch President), I wanted to tell you how impressed we are with David Hayes and Pete Peterson. Both have been doing a great job servicing our account. They are on the ball and are eager to make things happen for us. Major kudos for David who took the time to analyze our high use items and work with the brokers on getting us great pricing (without us even asking him!!!!!). What I'm most impressed with is their hunger to be #1. Our chef pushes all of the sales guys on pricing to help us in this competitive and tight economy. Instead of complaining about it, your guys are stepping up to the plate and delivering with great products and competitive pricing. They have been proactive and hungry for the business. We are totally impressed!! Bob Peterson, FSA Sales Associate I just wanted to let you all know of one more example of District 400 having the best route drivers in the FSA Fleet! Orofino, ID was hit early this morning with what could be described as a tornado. Trees, snapped in half, some uprooted, many of which were laying across the highway. Guardrails were smashed and there were plenty of rocks in the roadway. Our driver, Allan Civitello was on the road before the state boys could start the cleanup. But he didn't let the mess prevent him from reaching Orofino. He managed to dodge the rocks and trees, only to find out there was no power in the entire town. With some communications with the customer base, he made certain that the schools, hospital and assisted living center all received their deliveries as all the restaurants were closed. As power was restored, he was able to make all the deliveries. It would be easy and understandable had he just turned the truck around, but being as dedicated as he is, he made certain that the customers were taken care of. Another example of the quality of person manning the trucks in our district. Guardian Homes, Liberty Lake, WA My name is Karey Jensen. I am the Food Service Director for Guardian Angel Homes in Liberty Lake, WA. I just wanted to take a minute to give kudos to one of your drivers. The last 4 weeks we've had a young man named Chris Lowman for our Thursday morning delivery. He has proven to be one of the best drivers we've had here. He seems to really care about how he stacks our food, where he puts things so that it makes it easier for us to do our job. He is very pleasant and professional. More drivers would do well to follow his example. Nice job Chris!! Derek Palm, District Sales Manager, FSA The Couer d'Alene Resort has an exclusive club for its employees called the "Capital G" club. It’s a club for any employee who has received a letter of gratitude from a guest for going above and beyond their job description to give that guest great service. A few months ago, Mark Porath was walking through the Resort on his way to see Dockside when a guest asked him for directions to the Convention Center Sales Office. Mark dropped what he was doing to walk this guest to the office himself. When they departed, the guest asked for his name. This Resort guest was so impressed with Mark's service, that he wrote a letter to GM Bill Reagan expressing his gratitude for Mark. Mark was pulled into the Resorts' weekly managers meeting to be honored with a Capital G club award. This has never been awarded to anyone who was not an employee of the Resort. Mark's dedication to his customers shines through, even to their guests. Othello Community Hospital, Othello, WA What I appreciate most about FSA is the educational opportunities provided at the food shows and via the inservice booklets. FSA has been very supportive to my career organization, DMA, by providing resources in education, speakers, vendors and meeting facilities. Thank you.
